Kargı Han Caravanserai

A 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai on the old trade route.

In Beydiğin near Taşağıl, it stands on the old trade route linking Central Anatolia with the Mediterranean. It has no inscription; its style dates it to the reign of the Seljuk Sultan Kaykhusraw II (1236–1246).

Surrounded by thick walls, it has a vaulted covered hall to the north and a courtyard with rooms to the south; a plain portal opens onto the courtyard.
