Kırkgöz Aqueduct

The longest surviving arch bridge of the Roman water line that supplied Side.

Near Oymapınar this structure crosses a valley on dozens of arches. It belongs to the 2nd-century AD water line that carried water from the Manavgat River springs to Side, and is named after its many arches ("forty eyes").

A quiet spot in the Taurus foothills away from the crowds, especially photogenic in morning and evening light. See also Side Aqueducts.
