Köprülü Canyon and Oluk Bridge

The canyons of the Köprüçay river and its single-arched Roman bridge, in a national park.

Rising in the Taurus, the Köprüçay (ancient Eurymedon) flows through steep canyons inside Köprülü Canyon National Park, with Mediterranean cypress, pine, cedar and fir forests and wildlife such as wild goats and fallow deer. The river is the area's best-known rafting spot.

The single-arched Oluk Bridge over the river was built in the Roman period (2nd century AD) and is still open to traffic; the ancient road to Selge crosses it. Reach it from Manavgat via Taşağıl and Beşkonak.
